Super I Ching Hexagram Generator + Interpreter

This rebuild keeps the supplied Hao Jiang generator's hexagram/palace/branch logic, then layers the supplied Oracle I Ching rule summary and category-specific Super I Ching rules over it. It exposes the analysis instead of hiding it: appointed star, J/U, strength, helper/enemy, hiders, emptiness, connections, bounds/strikes, advance/retreat, combos, and a deterministic interpretation tied to the date.

Important: this is a source-faithful spiritual/oracular interpretation tool, not evidence-based financial, medical, legal, safety, or gambling advice. For real-world decisions, use qualified professionals and ordinary risk controls. Health and danger outputs are deliberately phrased as symbolic source rules, not diagnoses or literal predictions.

1. Question & category

The books repeatedly make mentality and question framing part of the interpretation. This tool therefore asks for category + question type instead of pretending one star has the same meaning in every situation.

2. Date engine

Automatic conversion reproduces the supplied legacy generator's approximate calendar algorithm. Near a month boundary, verify against a Chinese calendar and switch to manual mode.
Why manual override exists: the supplied summary itself says later years should be checked against a Chinese calendar for changing month-start dates. The legacy code also warns that its time algorithm can be off by hours. For an accuracy-first reading, verified month/day values should beat convenience.

3. Enter the six tosses

Enter from bottom (first toss) to top (sixth toss). O = moving yang → yin. X = moving yin → yang.

4. Interpretation depth

Priority used by this implementation: producing/killing and category-specific rules first, then appointed-star strength and connectivity, helper/enemy, hiders/emptiness/bondage, moving-line transformations and advance/retreat, structural 6-strike/6-match, and finally color description. That ordering follows the supplied notes' warning not to let colors or a simple match/strike override stronger producing/killing evidence.
